Tuesday, September 28, 2021 -- 4:00 p.m. West Frankfort Redbird Football Announces a Cancellation Due to a lack of eligible players due to injury and illness this week, the West Frankfort Redbird Varsity Football team will be unable to play in their scheduled game at Murphysboro High School this Friday, October 1, 2021. In addition, the West Frankfort Redbird Freshman Football game scheduled to be played at Johnson Field on Thursday, September 30, 2021, is also cancelled. The Redbirds thank Murphysboro High School for their understanding. The Redbirds hope to return to action next Friday, October 8 at Herrin.

On Tuesday, for the first time since Thursday, March 12, 2020, we will be on our regular dismissal schedule.
